DJ FX began his career in 2000 at a local venue in Pretoria, X4, where he played with the likes of DJNTG, Eddy Virgo, Morgan and Dizzy to name just a few. Expanding his horizons and increasing his repertoire, he began captivating audiences at popular venues like Billy the Bums, Good 4 Fellas, Co.Fi, Chefs on Decks, Cubana and Babylon in the Gauteng area. In 2006, he started playing for Belt Driven Productions that focused mainly on house and funk.

DJ FX went from strength to strength and in March 2009 he co-founded an elite team of DJs called United DJ’s. This organisation included top DJs such as DJNTG, Steve Black, Craig White and DJ Mac’E. Building on his brand, in 2011 DJ FX and DJ Mac’E created the international duo group, DiskFUNKtional that has featured all across Gauteng and opened for Mi Casa in Lusaka, Zambia. DJ FX continued to expand in the African market and has played in Botswana and Zambia. Further afield his mixes have even been heard on a Spanish radio station. As he is not one to let his career stagnate, he was accepted into Beat Boyz (Beatbotique) in 2013, an acclaimed DJ team managed by the prestigious Lady Lea.

In 2015 and 2016 DJ FX Played a few successful events at ESP and in 2016 started playing for We Are Trance at Truth as a guest DJ.
